Kenneth Gutman is in his 34th year as a professional educator, and his 16th year as a superintendent, serving in leadership roles in three Oakland County school districts. He has also served as an assistant superintendent of Human Resources, Curriculum, and Instruction; assistant superintendent of Human Resources; principal; assistant principal; and teacher. Harnessing his expertise with curriculum, instruction, and student achievement, he is compelled to ensure success for every student, every day. Mr. Gutman has played an integral role in district-wide accreditation, implementing an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and successfully passing several ballot initiatives. He serves on, and has chaired, several professional boards and committees and is committed to advocating for students in Oakland County and beyond. He earned his Education Specialist Certificate and master’s degree from Wayne State University and his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
